This is a perfect general purpose knife for the kitchen in 52100 carbon steel. It features a nice convex geometry with an ultra thin edge. I left a little more weight in the blade to push the balance point towards the tip so that gravity does a lot of the work of cutting. The handle is a full tang western profile with a bit of a hexagonal shape made from stabilized lao rosewood and a stainless pins.
